Chiropractic adjustments are common methods that chiropractors use, in order to restore proper function to the spine and extremities. We use varying techniques based on specific patient needs and patient preference. We utilize manual adjustments along with various instrument assisted adjusting.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
In many cases dysfunction of the spine and extremities includes a muscular imbalance that needs to be addressed in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments. We utilize various manual and instrument assisted soft tissue treatments to improve our clinical effectiveness and reach patient goals faster.
Physical Rehabilitation and At-Home Recommendations
In some cases, we may suggest specific at-home exercises for you to complete, in order to assist with your recovery, keep progressing towards your goals, and help minimize future problems.
The vestibular system consists of a tiny apparatus within your inner ear and multiple nuclei within your brain stem. The vestibular nuclei integrate information to create a brain map so your body knows its relation to the rest of the world.
Dysfunction within the vestibular system can alter the brain map and confuse your brain as to where you are in space.
Patients may experience vertigo, lightheadedness, dizziness, a sense of imbalance, and more leading to sensations of motion sickness. These problems could be temporary or prolonged. We will develop a treatment plan based on the root cause of vestibular imbalance.
Nutritional Supplementation & Lifestyle Recommendations
Every patient is unique; each leading different lifestyles with different diet and health habits. Due to our fast paced lifestyles, we often miss or deplete key nutrients that are crucial to the optimal functioning of our bodies. We will assess your nutritional status and recommend certain additions/eliminations to your current lifestyle via whole food or supplement recommendations.
Co-Management and Referral
Due to the complexity of the human body, some patients may require dual monitoring by Dr. Husk, as well as their medical physicians. Dr. Husk welcomes co-management and collaboration with his patients' medical physicians, in order to provide the most comprehensive care plan for his patients.
We hold our patient care and outcomes to the highest standard possible. If we are unable to reach the goals expected of our clinic or meet the goals expected from each individual patient we will refer to someone that can. Our ultimate goal is optimal health and happiness for every patient.
